Since 1997 Tokyo Progressive has been providing progressive news coverage for both Japanese and ex-pat audiences.  In looking at updating their site, we first focused on how to better integrate news feeds from outside sources which provide the basic content.  We also tackled improving the taxonomy system that had grown increasingly convoluted over the years.

We approached the project in phases, allowing work to proceed as resources and time allowed to enable familiarity with new workflow patterns before moving forward.
